Every year Freedom Quilts makes a quilt to help fund this project, and so many wonderful people join in to help make it possible. Victory Rally Quilt Winner

Banjo, as he likes to be called, was the winner of the Victory Quilt. Banjo is a Spencer Legion Rider and a supporter for Freedom Quilts.

When we have our Freedom Quilts ceremony, we can count on Banjo being one of the guys there to help escort the fallen soldiers’ families. He is also a loyal supporter who helps with the Avenue of Flags and the Battle Cross as we honor our fallen heroes. Read More >>

Winner of Quilt Raffle 2012

Congratulations to Donna and Eugene Buckmiller from Des Moines, Iowa! They are the winner of the 2012 Freedom Quilts Rafffle!
Donna and Eugene said they planned on showing off their winning Freedom Quilt to the whole family. Donna said she has never won anything, so it was truly amazing to win this quilt. Since Donna Buckmiller heard about the project Freedom Quilts, she has kindly helped Freedom Quilts continue it’s mission.

9/11 Family Wins Quilt Raffle

The 2011 Freedom Quilts raffle was won by Dolores Caproni — mother of Richard Caproni Jr., a 911 victim. Richard Caproni, 34, worked for Marsh and McLennan’s on the 98th floor of the North Tower. Dolores was overcome with surprise when she saw the quilt. The first thing she did was wrap it around herself.
