Army Pfc. Min S. Choi 21, of River Vale, N.J. was assigned to the 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga. He was killed Feb. 26 2005 when an improvised explosive device detonated while he was on patrol in Abertha, Iraq.

Army Sgt. Kyle W. Childress 29, of Terre Haute, Indiana died in Balad, Iraq, of wounds received in Ad Duluiyah, Iraq, when his unit was attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. He died on January 21, 2005.
